    LOVINGSTON, Va. (WDBJ) - A man was found dead inside of a home in the Shipman area of Nelson County Friday. The victim had a single gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office said. The man has been identified as Kevin Scott Small of Shipman. Deputies have identified a suspect and have obtained felony warrants for both second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

    DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Danville Police Department has identified Jaelynn Lowen, 21, of Danville as a suspect in a Thursday homicide. A reported shooting happened outside the Airport Mart Exxon at 12:41 p.m. Thursday along South Boston Rd. Pinakin Patel, 47, who is associated with the store, was found in the parking lot with gunshot wounds, Danville Police said. Patel was taken to SOVAH Danville where he was later pronounced dead.

    ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ/Gray News) - Passengers on a Greyhound bus say their scheduled trip turned into a travel nightmare. Around 20 people were stranded at Greyhound’s bus stop in Roanoke for more than nine hours Friday night. According to Greyhound bus tracking, bus No. 86974 began its route in Union Station just before 6 a.m. and arrived in Roanoke around noon.
