The community showed out for the day, hosted by Decatur Fire & Rescue, to encourage those with special needs to have a fun-filled time in a cool environment, the water park. Decatur Fire & Rescue Lieutenant Brandon Sivley said the department tries to host a handful of events every year to promote inclusivity.

MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) - A Morgan Co. inmate who was arrested last month for rape has now been charged with child pornography, according to court documents obtained by WAFF. Benjamin Bolan now faces a charge of possession of child pornography with the intent to distribute, court documents reveal. Bolan was already facing three charges of rape after a search by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office revealed he was the suspect involving a victim under the age of 15.

Chris Hogeland has been with the Muscle Shoals Fire Department for 19 years in various positions. Muscle Shoals Fire Chief John Hyde said that Hogeland was a clear choice for the department. Hyde says he is the perfect fit for the job because he perfectly balances being trustworthy to the guys while enforcing rules and regulations.
