LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF/Gray News) - A driver is charged in the death of a college football player following a deadly crash in Alabama on Tuesday night. Limestone County Coroner Mike West identified the victim as 22-year-old William D. Hardrick, of Birmingham. Court documents filed in Limestone County show John McAdams is charged with murder in connection with Hardrick’s death. He’s also charged with leaving the scene of an accident and DUI.

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - A search is underway after a witness reported seeing a person jump off the Hudson Memorial Bridge on Wednesday night, according to the Decatur Police Department. The witness told Decatur Police that around 8:31 p.m., an individual jumped off the bridge. Police officials told WAFF agencies are responding to the bridge’s northbound lanes.
