It appears that 2 things, 1 Harvard’s strong stance resisting Trump’s demands & 2 negative publicity toward Columbia’s potential agreement to similar demands, have resulted in the postponement of any announcement from Columbia re its capitulation to Trump.Let’s see how this goes.

Both shocking & not surprising. The fed'l gov't cannot and did not cite anything that Mahmoud Khalil did that was illegal that "might" justify his disappearance to a gulag in Louisiana. Nor do they have any evidence that his actions were actually antisemitic. This is outrageous.

NYC has been seizing properties from low income people for years & years thru the tax lien process (for unpaid water bills etc), so it has no standing to argue that it can't violate the property rights of slumlords by seizing their properties when they break the law.
