You may be aware that the sales tax in Franklin and parts of surrounding counties went up by 0.5 percent on April 1 to 8 percent, doubling the share collected by the Central Ohio Transit Authority to 1 percent. This issue marks the 600th of Columbus Monthly—the magazine’s 50th birthday.
