OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — After 156 animals were rescued from an Ogden home last week and taken to the Weber County Animal Shelter, animal shelters, rescues, and the community have been stepping in to do what they can to help. On April 16, 146 dogs and 10 cats were rescued from an Ogden home, reportedly being found in “extremely poor and overcrowded” conditions, according to the Ogden Police Department.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Utah Food Bank just received 35,000 pounds of pork — the equivalent of 140,000 servings, to help those facing food insecurity. This is all thanks to a donation by the Utah Pork Producers Association (UPPA), in partnership with Daily’s Premium Meats. Members of UPPA, as well as football players from Brigham Young University, Utah State University, and Southern Utah University, delivered the donation on Wednesday, April 16.
