HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) charged a male driver following a road rage incident that occurred on Wednesday evening. HPD reported that just after 6 p.m. on May 7, an 18-year-old girl was parking her car on Halekauwila Street with her 35-year-old mom in the passenger seat. She reportedly saw a gray Tesla speeding past. The 18-year-old girl and the 39-year-old that was driving the Tesla exchanged words.

HONOLULU (Island News) – Honolulu Police responded to a weapons call in Downtown Honolulu on Thursday afternoon. At approximately 1:15 p.m. the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) responded to Nu’uanu Ave and Kuakini St. for a classified weapons incident. HPD and the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services remain on scene. As a result of the investigation, officials closed an eastbound lane in one direction on the N. Kuakini St. and Nu’uanu Ave. No word yet on when the road will reopen.
