A free self-defense workshop will be held on Sunday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hawaii Elite MMA in Waipahu. The event will feature some of Hawaii’s top professional fighters and trainers.

    KAILUA, Hawaii (Island News) – A 37-year-old man was taken to the hospital in serious condition after suffering from dehydration while hiking in the Kailua area on Sunday afternoon, according to EMS. EMS and HFD responded to Luana Hills Road at approximately 3:27 p.m. and paramedics provided medical attention to the hiker before taking him to a nearby hospital.
