Editor’s summaryRegulatory T cells (Tregs) play an important role during homeostasis and are enriched in the liver in obesity-induced liver disease. Wang et al. explore how functional specification of liver Tregs is transcriptionally regulated in Western diet–induced obese mice. Effector Tregs expressing the transcription factor ATF4 accumulated in the livers of obese mice and promoted obesity-related liver fibrosis through integrin αvβ8–mediated activation of transforming growth factor–β.

1 Introduction Myasthenia gravis (MG) is a chronic autoimmune disorder of the nervous system characterized by recurring episodes of weakness and fatigue, primarily affecting skeletal muscles throughout the body, including the extraocular muscles (Hong et al. 2017). The prevalence of MG is approximately 150-250 cases per million, with an annual incidence rate of around 4-10 cases per million. Notably, the incidence of MG is currently on the rise (Heldal et al. 2009, Carr et al. 2010).

3.2. Deep Water Offshore Wave Calculation and ValidatingA computational area of about 46 km × 46 km in Taiping Bay Port was considered in the deep water offshore wave PMS model, divided into 5,290,000 rectangular grid units, each measuring 20 m × 20 m in length × width. Except for very shallow water depths (i.e., water depth value/wavelength < 0.01), it was generally guaranteed that each wavelength contained 5–7 grid cells. The bottom friction was 0.002.
