(WAVY) — A man was shot and killed by police in the parking lot of a Food Lion off of Richmond Road and Olde Towne Road by the Williamsburg Premium Outlets Sunday afternoon, police said. (WAVY viewer photos)James City County Police said the shooting took place around 4:55 p.m. in the parking lot of the Food Lion, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene. James City County police and fire departments were at the scene.
