STAMFORD - Jeanne Franklin, the founding director of the Stamford Senior Center, spent much of her life involved in advocating for the senior population. And she continued doing so right up to her passing. Marie Allen, executive director of the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging, said she spoke to Franklin the Friday before, and the Stamford resident gave “strong guidance” on an upcoming event planned by the agency.
