    Kentucky authorities put out an Amber Alert after a man allegedly shot his child’s mother in the back of the head and abducted the girl. The suspect, Byron Black, 42, and the missing daughter, Lela Black, 5, were last heard from on Friday, but state police were dispatched to the murder scene on Sunday, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. “He is suspected to be armed and dangerous,” they wrote.

The Christian non-profit camp, founded in 1966, also has a long history of being a popular setting for school outings. But this coming year, the number of school trips to the camp may decrease due to concerns around the camp’s policies and inclusivity.
