Is it just me, or is bone broth having a moment? All my favorite influencers seem to be sipping it to soothe some ailment or another. It’s purportedly good for your gut, joints, skin, and, according to some, your brain. In fact, some proponents suggest that bone broth can even help clear up brain fog. Brain fog is something that's plagued me on and off since I had kids (particularly after my twins were born), typically the result of a combination of stress and sleep deprivation.

I’ve been a daily coffee drinker since I was 13. I’ve been devoted to my four cups a day ever since and have tried a seemingly endless variety of brews—classic drip, pumpkin spice lattes, flat whites, oat milk lattes, and even CBD-infused concoctions. They've all had their moments, but I always return to my tried-and-true: regular drip coffee, two sugar substitutes, and a whole lotta creamer. Stress seriously affects your body, mind, and ability to feel like yourself. While you might feel like you're stuck in a constant state of tension, it's easy to forget that your body is also designed to recover. It's an exhausting, frustrating cycle. As I'm drifting off, I feel that tell-tale irritation and urge to scratch.

Birthday parties, concerts, her little sister's graduation...I showed up for it. But whenever it was *my* turn to invite her to something that was important to me, she always had some type of excuse: too tired, too busy, or just wasn't feeling like it. I brushed it off at first. All friendships go through ups and downs. But I couldn't ignore the facts forever. It wasn’t easy, but I finally had to admit she was just being a bad friend.
