Syracuse, N.Y. — Softball section championships are in the books and three new teams finish the season at No. 1 after winning titles. Rome Free Academy (AAA), Camden (A) and Solvay (B) weren’t the favorites in their classes, but it didn’t matter. The Black Knights defeated Baldwinsville in the title game, Camden repeated in A by avenging a regular-season loss to New Hartford, and Solvay stayed hot by taking down a dominant Marcellus team.
