Several Catholic parishes in central Ohio will have new priests this summer. The Rev. Tom Gardner will replace the Rev. David Sizemore at St. Francis de Sales in Newark. The Rev. Anish Thomas will join St. Francis as a parochial vicar, splitting time with Newark Catholic as chaplain. The Rev. PeterClaver Kasasa Kiviiri will move from St. Francis to Church of the Resurrection in New Albany.

The Board of Elections certified the election results on May 19, with the Alexandria vote the only election in need of a recount, which will occur on May 27.
