This restaurant doesn’t look much from the outside - in fact, you could be forgiven for passing by and not even noticing it. But Yeung Sing Restaurant in Bingham, which incorporates the House of Eve Cocktail Lounge, is a taste and visual sensation inside. The unassuming brick built building has a small sign hidden in the entrance hallway and a banner above the door but the foyer is fit for every Instagrammer’s feed with a ‘Beauty’ and ‘Beast’ neon sign above thrones decorated with florals.

The southbound carriageway of the A1 is likely to be shut for most of this morning (Sunday, April 6) after a serious crash. The road is closed between the A43 in Stamford and the B1081 turn-off for Wothorpe and Easton-on-the-Hill. This is due to a serious collision that the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit is dealing with. The crash is believed to have happened at about 7am. So far, no details of any injuries have been released.

I’ve recently been told I must take better care of myself so when I was invited to try a new wellbeing experience locally, I jumped at the chance. Rutland Hall promotes the Four Roots experience as the “perfect place to relax and recharge” and describes it as an “oasis of calm and tranquility”. Pulling into the car park for the experience though, I felt far from tranquil - I got lost in the maze of car parks at the hotel which is set in 70 acres of parkland.

A shopkeeper who sold illegal cigarettes in three counties has been sentenced to three years and eight months in prison and ordered to pay £20,000 in costs. Officers from Lincolnshire County Council’s Trading Standards raided Ismail Amin’s store at 77 High Street, Boston in February 2023 and uncovered illicit vapes, cigarettes and tobacco worth £3,000. Some of the dangerous products were even found in an electronic ‘hide’ disguised as a wall.

A public service announcement for all my fellow chocoholics: If you buy a meal deal from Sainsbury's (other supermarkets available), you can get a Cadbury Duo in on it. Who is choosing the regular size if there's a duo available?

What a day I've had and then I've gone onto social media to find people calling me and my hard-working and dedicated team 'lazy' for asking people to pay just 48p a week for our work. https://t.co/FdyS4GPYrf and use promo code KerryCoupe for the annual option....

I’ve just been to Bourne tip. I got there about 3.35pm and joined the queue. It shuts at 4pm but the gates close at 3.50pm. Everyone who had been queuing was turned away. I’m not saying flytipping is acceptable but it could be related. https://t.co/OiljvDqzwe
