Although some participants identified positive elements related to teaching students with ADHD, most perceived these students as negatively impacting teaching and learning, both for themselves and for other students. Teachers reported that students with ADHD were challenging to manage and often described them as ‘bold’ (i.e., misbehaving/badly behaved). Some also opined that students with ADHD use their diagnosis as an excuse for non-compliance and underperformance in the classroom.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is looking for a man accused of entering a home and going into the residents' bedroom while they were asleep. The incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, in the 4400 block of Whispering Valley Drive in North Austin, near Duval Road. According to police, two people woke up and a found the stranger inside their bedroom. Police said the man quickly ran out of the home once he was spotted.

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has signed his first name, image and likeness (NIL) deal. On Tuesday, Manning announced an exclusive partnership with the trading card company Panini America. He signed a "Throwback Black Prizm 1of1" card that will be auctioned off. As of early Wednesday morning, the bid for the card was more than $60,000.

AUSTIN, Texas — Capital Metro (CapMetro) plans to increase the ways that Austin FC fans can get to Q2 Stadium. A planned 1.7-mile bike path called the Red Line Trail will connect Braker Lane to the northern Walnut Creek Trail. CapMetro says this will make it easier for soccer fans to access public transportation and other trails from the stadium.
The trail will also connect to the future McKalla and Broadmoor stations on the CapMetro rail line.

Home construction company Lennar and ICON, a 3D printing company, have announced that houses are now for sale in their 3D-printed, 100-home community in Georgetown's Wolf Ranch neighborhood. The community is located near Interstate 35 and State Highway 29.
The first model home in the community officially opened to the public on Saturday.

ADELAIDE, SA — A woman from Pflugerville is playing in the FIFA Women's World Cup Monday morning. Carina Baltrip-Reyes is a defender for Panama. She graduated from Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville in 2016. After high school, Baltrip-Reyes played two years at Florida International University, then transferred and played three more seasons for the University of Florida.
Panama was scheduled to face Brazil in their first matchup of the World Cup early Monday morning in Adelaide, Australia.
