Michelle Wilson, 47, hubby David, 60, and their nine children, have lived in the first floor four-bed property in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, for 13 years. But they claim mould and damp started to spread after cavity wall insulation was installed six years ago. The family have moved to a temporary home while council workers carry out repairs.

FUMING locals held a protest amid claims they have been left to live in a "ghost town" thanks to Scotland's £400million ferry fiasco. The two new vessels promised to Ardrossan Harbour seven years ago are too big to fit the main harbour for their daily journeys to and from the Isle of Arran. The existing facilities at the North Ayrshire port, will need an £80million upgrade for the new larger ships to berth safely.
