The Dog Days Are Over singer bought the sprawling estate in Somerset four years ago but has still not moved in after a series of setbacks. Her plans to re-unify four buildings which have been separate since the 1940s have been approved by the local council.

COPS probing the gun murder of banker Alistair Wilson are focusing on a beer garden photo taken before the 2004 killing. The grainy image shows punters drinking at a hotel across from Alistair’s home where he had objected to planning permission for a large area of decking. It is believed detectives are hoping the snap at the Havelock Hotel in Nairn, Inverness-shire, could yield clues to help finally solve the 21-year mystery.

DOCTOR Who actor David Tennant has said he wishes writer JK Rowling "no ill will" but thinks that we, as a society, should "just let people be". The Harry Potter author has previously taken jabs at the Scottish TV and film star, 54, over his comments on trans rights, and has spoken in support of the recent Supreme Court ruling that the term "woman" in the Equality Act refers to a biological woman.

Man cops want to trace was wearing a dark coloured zip-up bomber jacket with a hood, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms, and black and white trainers. COPS have released an image of a man they want to trace after a child was attacked. The youngster was assaulted in Cultins Road, Edinburgh, on Tuesday. Police said the crime happened at around 3.45pm. And they want to speak to the man pictured. It is hoped he can help with their probe into the crime.
