Smoked to dead center field, the fly ball looked like it was destined to go over his head. Turning right and then turning left - backpedaling the entire time - Tyler Wiltsey found himself completely turning around before the ball landed safely in his glove. If you had never seen the Audubon senior play the game, you would have thought he had no shot to catch the ball. In the end, it proved to be just another athletic play in a career of athletic plays by the four-year standout.

The name is slightly different, the location has changed and it now covers four days, but the purpose remains the same. One of the top showcase events in the region since its inception in 2012, the Downbeach Coaches vs. Cancer Classic kicks off on Thursday, April 24. This is the 13th edition of the showcase, which started as a 12-team event and has grown over the years. It will run April 24-27, with 34 teams slated to participate. Games will be played at Jerome Avenue Park in Margate.
