According to the arrest log, Smolak is facing charges of fourth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal damage to a property. She is being accused of leaving about $100,000 in damages to a home that she was renting in Norwalk. The landlord’s husband, Kevin Gillespie who has been looking over the property told News 8 that Smolak lived at the home for about seven years since February of 2018.
