    The heart of the Downtown Eastside was beating with joy and passion Saturday as the neighbourhood held an event celebrating Indigenous people in Canada. Michelle Bryant-Gravelle, senior director of Indigenous Relations at the City of Vancouver, says it was important to have the event in the Downtown Eastside.     The Langley RCMP says it has not made any arrests in connection to a massive fire that destroyed a barn in Langley Township Friday. Police say when first responders arrived on scene around 11:45 a.m., they found a barn on 102B Avenue west of 208 Street engulfed in flames. According to the owner, she was attacked by a handyman working on this property and she suspects he was the person responsible for starting this fire. CityNews hasn't been able to confirm this with police.
