    More than six out of 10 electric businesses in South Korea’s Gyeonggi Province and Incheon Metropolitan City have been imported from China over the past three years, latest data showed on Sunday.     GM Korea Co. opened a new service center in Yeongdungpo District, western Seoul, on Tuesday, which will handle regular maintenance and repairs for vehicles. GM Korea unveiled the newly-built service center for the first time on Tuesday. The center, which completed construction in July last year, is an eight-story building with three basement levels. Five of these floors are fully dedicated to servicing Chevrolet, Cadillac, and GMC vehicles.

    South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co. will construct a hydrogen fuel cell plant inside its industrial complex in Ulsan metropolitan city. The new plant will produce hydrogen cells to power NEXO, the automaker’s hydrogen-powered car, and other hydrogen vehicles, including buses and trucks. The facility will feature next-generation hydrogen cell production, combining stack manufacturing and assembly inside a single factory.
