MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a teacher in connection with an incident of a 4-year-old who ingested ethanol. Tracy Walker, 56, is charged with aggravated child abuse, according to the Mobile County Metro Jail records. The case came to light April 28 when the parents of a 4-year-old at Collins-Rhodes Elementary School took the child to USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital after picking her up from school severely ill.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA/Gray News) - Authorities found no signs of victims or of a shooter after clearing the building where an armed disturbance was reported near Naval Air Station Pensacola. Earlier Thursday, law enforcement reported they were responding to a possible active shooter situation at Corry Station. According to the Escambia Sheriff’s Office, officials have cleared a building at Corry Station where the disturbance was reported and found no victims or signs of a shooter.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA/Gray News) – A man was arrested in Alabama after police say he led them on a low-speed chase in a small, stolen construction vehicle. People who saw the bright orange track skid loader with police hot on its tail said it was a bizarre sight. “That’s not something you see every day-- that was definitely crazy,” Scott Stockton said. Authorities said the track loader, which had been reported stolen, was used to try to hit someone. The vehicle had been on and off the roadway.
