Earlier Thursday, law enforcement reported they were responding to a possible active shooter situation at Corry Station. According to the Escambia Sheriff’s Office, officials have cleared a building at Corry Station where the disturbance was reported and found no victims or signs of a shooter.

    MOBILE, Ala. (WALA/Gray News) – A man was arrested in Alabama after police say he led them on a low-speed chase in a small, stolen construction vehicle. People who saw the bright orange track skid loader with police hot on its tail said it was a bizarre sight. “That’s not something you see every day-- that was definitely crazy,” Scott Stockton said. Authorities said the track loader, which had been reported stolen, was used to try to hit someone. The vehicle had been on and off the roadway.

The city is in the process of demolishing the arena. A witness said he “heard and felt the ground shake” around the time the roof collapsed. “Based on an initial evaluation of the site, the arena’s roof did collapse in on itself due to the snow load.
