    CHELMSFORD, MASS. (WHDH) - Dozens of supporters gathered Thursday outside the Chelmsford immigration hearing for Marcelo Gomes, an 18-year-old Milford High School student arrested by ICE. Many stood outside with signs as a judge granted Gomes $2,000 bond. If Gomes is able to pay, he will be released.

    NEWTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Pro-Israel demonstrator, Scott Hayes, has reached a deal with the state following his involvement in a Newton rally that was caught on cellphone video. “I feel its fair, given the circumstances, and I’m glad its behind me,” said Hayes. The incident happened in September. Authorities say Caleb Gannon ran across the street and tackled Hayes during a peaceful demonstration. Hayes, who was licensed to carry, had a gun on him that went off and hit Gannon in the stomach.

    BOSTON (WHDH) - Dashboard camera video, released as part of a new lawsuit, shows the moment a school bus crashed off the road outside a Boston school in December. According to the suit, a third grader with autism was badly hurt in the Dec. 6 crash. The video shows the driver of the bus appear to be sleeping. As the driver wakes up and begins steering, the video shows the school bus jump onto the sidewalk and directly hit a student as he is walking with a school aide.
