AUSTIN — With the final sprint and pitch and shot in the books, we put a wrap on yet another remarkable Longhorn year. I say remarkable, but that doesn't really do justice to the year that Texas had, does it? Given the fact it moved up in competition to the SEC and announced its arrival with a flourish, the year was spectacular. Texas is now setting the bar. Talk about sustained excellence across the board. I would say this is the Golden Age for the Longhorns, but Platinum Age may be more accurate.
