Students at Carpenter Elementary School in Wolfeboro were being dismissed early Friday because a ceiling collapsed in a classroom. Fire officials said they were called to the building at about 10:30 a.m. because of a report of a sagging ceiling and light fixtures falling down in the second-floor classroom. Not long after firefighters arrived, the ceiling in the classroom collapsed, fire officials said.

A Superior Court judge has dismissed Volodymyr Zhukovskyy's request to restore his driving privileges on New Hampshire roads.The ruling was released Tuesday evening.Zhukovskyy had his driving privileges suspended for seven years following a 2019 crash in Randolph in which seven motorcyclists were killed.Zhukovskyy was found not guilty on all charges related to the crash.This is a developing story.
