CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Wildcats hosted the Rossview Hawks for game two (with game one suspended) of their rivalry series on Tuesday. The game, between two of the top five teams in the state, was low scoring for a while. But the Wildcat’s bats put up massive numbers in the third and fourth innings and held off a late Rossview rally for an 8-3 win. Right-handed pitcher Aiden Smith was dealing with the first two innings and kept a zero on the scoreboard.

The Eagle’s offense heated up early, with a two-run homer from shortstop Jamarion Green highlighting the early scoring. Northeast only collected six hits, including two from first baseman Jackson Meece, but they were all at opportune times to score runners.
