PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - A man accused of sexually assaulting two women last November in Point Breeze pleaded guilty to the crimes in court on Thursday. Abdul Ford, 23, admitted he was the one who attacked two women on separate nights as they walked home. The first woman he followed after she left a bar at 22nd and Christian Streets. She noticed a man following her and was trying to dodge him, but he caught up with her blocks from her apartment and groped her.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Federal authorities have arrested a Philadelphia man accused of shooting a 13-year-old boy last week during a dispute over wet concrete. Police said 43-year-old Keith Holmes was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals Wednesday morning. He has been charged with aggravated assault and gun offenses for allegedly shooting the teen last Thursday over freshly poured concrete near 57th Street and Kingsessing Avenue in the city's Kingsessing section.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - The driver accused of hitting and killing a CHOP doctor last summer as she rode her bike near Rittenhouse Square has pleaded guilty to all charges against him. Michael Vahey admitted to fatally striking Barbara Friedes with his car last July. The 30-year-old oncology doctor was wearing a helmet and cycling in the bike lane along Spruce Street when she was struck, throwing her about 150 feet.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Authorities are searching for a man who police say preyed upon a 12-year-old girl, sexually assaulted her, and tried to lure her into his car in Manayunk last month. It happened just before 11:30 a.m. on March 20 on East Salaignac Street, near Righter Street. The man is described as about 35 to 40 years old, and he was wearing a distinctive gray- and black-checkered hooded sweatshirt.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - A 13-year-old was shot in the city's Kingsessing neighborhood Thursday night. Police are searching for the man they believe is responsible. Officials say a 13-year-old was shot on the 2000 block of South 57th Street just before 7 p.m. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he's listed in stable condition. There is an active arrest warrant for 43-year-old Keith Holmes, of that same block. He is wanted for aggravated assault and gun charges.
