    Each week, a member of TMJ4's staff goes to a local fish fry destination and reviews their product. This week, Meteorologist Kristen Kirchhaine is reviewing Liquid Johnny's in Milwaukee:I had driven by the place plenty of times and never stopped. But, per a friend's recommendation, Friday's fish fry outing took us to Liquid Johnny's in Milwaukee. We walked in around 6:15pm and were greeted by a friendly hostess, who let us know the wait was around 45 minutes.

    The overnight hours will remain dry under mostly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the 20s with light winds. Snowfall for Saturday has continued to trend down over the last 24-hours. Most locations south of I-94 will only pick up a trace to 1-inch of snow, including the Milwaukee area. North of I-94 will likely see 1-3 inches. The highest snow totals will remain in central and northern Wisconsin, where 3-6" of snow is expected. This will be a dry snow, with the main travel impacts expected from 10am-5pm.

    The heat was on in 2024, so much so that the year will go in the books as the warmest on record for Milwaukee. That's an impressive ranking; records date back to 1871, meaning that in the last 154 years, no year has been warmer. The numbers show both days and nights ran warm across southeast Wisconsin. The average yearly high and low were both more than three degrees above normal. Records for the year reinforce the trend.
