CAMPUSES. CAMPUS RATHER. SUPPORTERS GATHERED FOR A RALLY ON CAMPUS TODAY IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP THE CAMPUS OPEN. NEW KENT IS ONE OF 12 BRANCH CAMPUSES TARGETED FOR POSSIBLE CLOSURE BECAUSE OF DECLINING ENROLLMENT AND FINANCES. A DECISION ON WHICH CAMPUSES WILL CLOSE IS EXPECTED IN JUST A FEW WEEKS. IT JUST CAN’T BE OVERSTATED HOW IMPORTANT THE BRANCH CAMPUSES ARE. I FEEL THEY SHOULD BE TOP PRIORITY, A HIGHER PRIORITY THAN EVEN MAIN CAMPUS BECAUSE AS WE ALL KNOW, EDUCATION IS THE GREAT EQUALIZER.
