CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) -If you like apples and working with your hands, a local orchard is hiring for the season. In Central City, pears are starting to bloom and apples are just budding at Buffalo Ridge Orchard. "They planted the first apple trees in 2003 and we've been building up the business since 2012," said Marcus Johnson, Farm Orchard Manager at Buffalo Ridge Orchard. Johnson's in-laws started the orchard. It's something he and his wife continue to help grow.
