By Kristy Deer | Daily ReporterNearly 100 people attended a community town hall meeting with Indiana Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith Wednesday evening at the Hancock County Courthouse Annex. The gathering at times became contentious, with audience members expressing displeasure over some of Beckwith’s views. Still, the meeting gave people a chance to engage in dialogue surrounding various topics such as government spending, cutting Medicaid benefits, insurance, property tax issues and religious beliefs.

Greenfield police sent out an alert in late May about vandalism on a couple of buildings on Riley Avenue near the Pennsy Trail. They urged people with information to step forward.
