It was the second time in four days. NVEnergy.com reported power was back on by 9:15 p.m. in Douglas County. County commissioners approved the final budget on Tuesday 3-0.

    Bail was increased to $1 million cash or $2 million bond for a man accused of being drunk during a fatal head-on crash at Lake Tahoe 7 a.m. March 20. Stephen Michael Pawlowski, 64, has been in custody since the crash on $500,000 cash bail. Pawlowski appeared with attorney Alexandra Dyer in Tahoe Township Justice Court on Tuesday. Prosecutor Chelsea Mazza filed a motion to double the bail after prosecutors learned that Pawlowski was on the verge of posting the cash bail.
