"We're going to be fast, fundamentally sound, we're going to attack, we're going to be smart, play with a high football IQ, and at the end of the day you have to tackle," smiled Thomas. New names will be called on this year. Jaden Dedman, Isaiah Essissima, Richard Toney Jr., and Emany Johnson are no longer with the program.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Bryson Brigman is the Reno Aces ultimate do-it-all man. "Being able to throw me wherever is good for the team but great for me," he said of his role. "I'm getting a lot more reps in the outfield and different places I haven't played as much so all around it's a win-win."This season Brigman has played second base, shortstop, right field, left field, and even pitcher. It's helped him always find his way into the lineup.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Two weeks into fall football camp and Wolf Pack Head Coach Jeff Choate is preparing for the team's first scrimmage of this session. So far the staff has been expanding the playbook while players work to carve out roles. "Let's find out who can play," Choate said. "You try to simulate a game and often that anxiety levels are going to increase, who can operate with a little more stress, and who is going to make plays. That's what you're looking for.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Run the ball. It's an identity that helped Wolf Pack Head Coach Jeff Choate find success while the leader at Montana State. He plans on emphasizing the run game this year, and he thinks he has the personnel to do it. "That's a position that takes a lot of shots," said Choate. "You have to have a deep running back room. Those guys get hit a lot. It's a volatile position whether it's at this level or in the NFL and I like a lot of runners.
