Chase Lynch drove in 5 runs on 3 hits, including an inside the park home run in the third inning. Calallen starting pitcher Collier Carroll earned the win for Calallen. The starter pitched a complete game, only surrendering 3 hits and 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 3 and walking 2.

    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Calallen Lady Cats stay undefeated in UIL 4A District 31 after outscoring Tuloso-Midway 15-4 on Tuesday. That win secured the district championship. Calallen senior and UTSA signee Brookelynn Meador wnt 5-for-3 at the plate, hitting a 3-run homer to center field in the fifth innings and a 2 RBI double in the second inning. Kris Leal went 4-for-4 at the plate as the nine-hole batter for 3 runs and 3 RBI. The Lady Cats piled up 16 hits in the game.

The university found their answer in Toyelle Wilson, who brings an impressive resume to Corpus Christi. G-P won the first meeting 7-1 a month ago. Ray amassed 12 hits in the game. Aidan Ortiz led the Texans with 4 RBI. He went 2-for-3 at the plate. Lucas Tinajero, Raul Trevino, Jarron Sandoval and Ortiz each collected 2 hits. OJ Ruiz earned the win on the mound for Ray.
