SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Orange Grove Bulldogs come up short to Thrall in the UIL 3A-DII State Semifinal. Orange Grove lost game one 4-1, then bounced back game two 7-1 and getting upset in game three 2-1. Thrall took the early lead in the third when Maverick McAllister hit a sac fly to center, bringing home Hayden Heselmeyer. The Tigers extended their lead in the fifth when Nick Treuter's line drive brought Heselemeyer home again for the 2-0 lead.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Calallen Wildcats are going back to the UIL baseball State Championship for the second season in-a-row after sweeping China Spring in the 4A-DI State Semifinal 9-7 and 11-1. "We worked a lot throughout the offseason," Aidan Flores, Calallen junior third baseman said. "During the season just staying focused throughout our whole journey."Calallen senior Chase Lynch, a McMurry University signee, drove in 5 runs on 2 hits.

AUSTIN, Texas — The London Pirates are going to back to the UIL high school baseball State Championship since they won it all in 2022. They battled back against Huntington, winning the 3A-DI Semifinal 6-3. London senior pitcher Zak Garcia came in relief for Ethan Ortega. Garcia dealt 8 strikeouts through 4.1 innings, while only allowing 2 hits and walking 3 batters. Ortega went 2.2 innings, dealing 4 punchouts and allowing 4 hits, 3 runs and 2 walks. "We've been battle tested before.
