CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than 200 volunteers from 11 area companies rolled their sleeves up Friday to build a brand-new, one-of-a-kind playground at Hickory Grove Elementary School, a Title I school serving just over 500 kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
