    England marks No Smoking Day today. The campaign, which has been running for 40 years, urges the nation's 5.3million smokers to make an attempt to quit cigarettes. It is backed by leading charities including ASH, Cancer Research UK and Asthma + Lung UK. And according to the government it's "one of the best things they can do for their health and wealth". They have a point – with with up to two in three long-term smokers dying from smoking and causing 64,000 deaths in England each year.
