    BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - #17 WKU Baseball defeated Evansville 14-4 in eight innings on Tuesday night at Nick Denes Field. Kyle Hayes totaled a career-high six RBI and homered for the fourth consecutive game while Ryan Wideman sealed the deal with a walk-off RBI double in the eighth inning for the run-rule win to sweep the season series over the Purple Aces. Hayes launched a three-run bomb over the left center wall to give WKU a 3-0 lead in the first inning.

    BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -WKU and WKU Athletics held the Hilltopper Fieldhouse Final Beam Raising Ceremony on Tuesday. The Hilltopper Fieldhouse will be home to the WKU Forensics and Esports programs, as well as provide practice and training space for the Big Red Marching Band and Hilltopper Athletics. The facility is being built upon the land that was formerly the football practice field, located between Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium and Nick Denes Field.

The Brooklyn, N.Y. native joins the Hilltopper Basketball roster for 2025-26 having previously played under head coach Hank Plona at Indian Hills CC and coming off back-to-back standout seasons competing for WIU in the Ohio Valley Conference.

    BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - WKU men’s basketball will compete in the 2025 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament on November 26-28. Entering its 14th year of collegiate play, the tournament will take place in Imperial Arena at Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas. The 2025 B4A men’s field will include Colorado State, Saint Mary’s, South Florida, Vanderbilt, VCU, Virginia Tech, Wichita State and WKU.
