FORT WORTH, Texas — Gov. Greg Abbott was in Fort Worth on Tuesday to sign several bills he says will deliver on even more pro-business policies in Texas. Abbott said House Bill 346 will help small business owners speed up fillings with the Secretary of State's Office. He also signed House Bill 2464, which prevents cities from imposing regulations on qualified home businesses.

The Texas Advocacy Project launched its annual Handbags and Backpacks for Hope Campaign on Monday. They are collecting new bags to give to shelters, hospitals and clinics across the state.

AUSTIN, Texas — We now know when Austin’s Blues on the Green will happen this year. Organizers announced the free concert series is set for Aug. 5 and Aug. 6 at Zilker Park.
