Carl Ginter may be an artist like no other. For about 15 years, Ginter was homeless, but drawing brought him peace and tranquility during that time. This month, Ginter's art is being displayed at Calvary Episcopal Church with the help of two supporters, David Webber and David Rees. A reception was held at the church Wednesday to showcase Ginter's work. Ginter's artwork consists of drawings, using materials like pencil and pastels.

Over 20 teams flooded Bob Burchard Court at Columbia College this weekend for the third annual Sophie Cunningham Classic. Family, friends and members of the Cunningham family came out to support the hundreds of athletes from multiple states as they played 20 games from dawn to dusk. Various college coaches, including Ole Miss and Saint Louis University, were in attendance as the classic's competitive matchups hosted some of the top athletes in the country.
