    Mt. Juliet residents may see a significant property tax hike with a proposed 400 percent increase per $100 of assessed property in the 2025-26 budget that passed first reading by the Mt. Juliet Board of Commissioners on June 9. The second reading is scheduled for Monday, June 23 for the budget that would go into effect on July 1. The proposed property tax bill rate hike would raise the current 11 cents per $100 of assessed property value to 44 cents.
