A new executive is officially in charge of ArtsWestchester after an eight-month nationwide search. In her first video as CEO, Kathleen Reckling sat down with News 12's senior reporter Tara Rosenblum. Reckling is replacing Janet Langsam, who led Westchester's oldest and most respected organization dedicated to the arts for more than three decades. George Latimer's winning streak continued Tuesday night as the Westchester County executive won the Democratic primary in NY-16 over Rep. Jamaal Bowman. In a victory speech, Latimer called for more civility following the contentious election. “We have to fight to make sure we don’t vilify each other and we remember that we’re all Americans, and our common future is bound together," he told supporters at an event in White Plains.
