    Rescuers from several police and fire departments are searching for a missing swimmer in the Hudson River, according to officials in Dobbs Ferry. Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps also confirmed that there is an ongoing "rescue operation" in Dobbs Ferry for person missing in the water. News 12 is at the scene and watched as responders launched boats into the Hudson River.

    A massive fire that ripped through an apartment building in Fordham left two firefighters with minor injuries overnight. The FDNY responded to 210 East 181st St. – a six-story apartment building. They were able to get the flames under control around 4:15 a.m.The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire were not immediately clear. The firefighters were treated at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. News 12’s Aurora Fowlkes has more from the scene.

    A tree fell onto a home in Tenafly this morning, causing a fire and a large emergency response. Tenafly police say they received a call about the incident on Jefferson Avenue around 8:52 a.m.Upon arrival, all residents had exited the home. Assistant Fire Chief Mark Fredrick said there were no injuries. According to Fredrick, there were “heavy fire conditions” in the rear of the home and crews were forced to pull back due to the risk of collapse.

    Two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, have died following a search and rescue operation in the waters off Coney Island, the NYPD says. Officials told News 12 that the first call of swimmers in distress happened just after 8 p.m. Friday at the beach across from Stillwell Avenue. Police say more than an hour after that first call, divers removed two females from the water. They were later pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital. Danny Gines says he was on the beach during as rescuers searched the water.
