Charleston, WV - The Lexington Legends stayed strong Thursday night, riding a dominant pitching performance to a 2–1 victory over the Charleston Dirty Birds and pushing their record to 8–4. With the win, Lexington remains one game behind High Point in the South Division standings. Starter Patrick Wicklander improved to a league best 3–0 on the year, striking out six over five innings while allowing just one run on four hits.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky has added another player to its 2025-2026 roster with the addition of 7-foot-1 center Reece Potter. The Lexington native, who played high school basketball at Lexington Catholic, has spent the past two seasons at Miami (OH). In 30 games last season for the Redhawks, Potter averaged 6.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and shot 36 percent from three-point range.

(May 5, 2025) – La Familia, the Kentucky alumni team hosting The Basketball Tournament’s (TBT) Lexington Regional at Memorial Coliseum from July 18-22, today announced the return of Aaron and Andrew Harrison to their 2025 roster. The Harrison twins join Willie Cauley-Stein, Doron Lamb, and DeAndre Liggins as the first five player commitments to La Familia’s roster. Additional players will be announced in the coming weeks.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Andrija Jelavić (pronounced an-dree-ah yell-uh-vich), one of the top European prospects, has signed with the Kentucky men’s basketball program as announced by head coach Mark Pope on Monday. Jelavić, a 6-foot-11 forward, averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game for Mega Superbet in the Adriatic League. “Andrija is a really skilled, athletic, mobile, veteran player who has been playing at a high level for the last two years,” Pope said.
