Manchester City and Manchester United will find out who awaits them in the FA Cup quarter-finals when the draw is made on Wednesday at 7pm. Defending champions City emphatically booked their place with a 6-2 thumping of Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night, with Erling Haaland scoring five and Kevin De Bruyne getting four assists. Coventry, Newcastle United and Leicester City have also secured their right to be one game away from a Wembley semi-final.

Nuno Espirito Santo has stressed the importance of remaining focused on training and matches after Nottingham Forest dropped a place in the Premier League relegation battle due to Everton's points deduction being reduced on appeal. The 10-point penalty Everton were hit with in November for breaching the league's profitability and sustainability rules (PSR) for the assessment period ending 2021-22 was cut to six on Monday.

Manchester City are bidding for a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this evening when they play Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. The Blues are aiming to retain the trophy they won last season as part of their historic Treble-winning campaign, but will face a stern test against a Luton team that has proved tough for the top teams to beat on their own patch. Indeed, City had to come from behind to beat the Hatters in their Premier League fixture in December.

Manchester United have been hit with a major injury blow ahead of the derby vs Manchester City. The club say Rasmus Hojlund has suffered a muscle injury that will keep him our of action vs Fulham tomorrow, and is expected to see him on the sidelines for two or three weeks. That means the Dane seems certain to miss the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium next weekend.

Casemiro believes Kobbie Mainoo will be a 'great' Manchester United player for years to come. Mainoo got his chance to shine in the Reds' midfield while Casemiro was out with a hamstring injury and now they've formed a strong partnership on the pitch. Under manager Erik ten Hag, United have won all five games that Casemiro and Mainoo have started together. One of those saw Mainoo score a last-minute goal to win a thrilling match against Wolves.
