NAPA, Calif. (KGO) -- The Bay Area mother accused of killing her two children in a DUI crash faced a judge again on Tuesday. Police say the mother Yesica Barajas was drinking -- and smelled of marijuana at the time of the crash back on March 16. The judge heard arguments on why the defense team believes the 31-year-old mother should be released on bail, saying there are less restrictive means to protect the public, other than incarceration.

Should CA extend last call until 4 a.m.? That’s a plan one SF Assemblymember is hoping to accomplish before major events like the Olympics, the Super Bowl and World Cup come to the Golden State. @abc7newsbayarea

A group of CA lawmakers are pushing for legislation to extend bar hours. The new legislation would allow local governments to create "Hospitality Zones". Businesses in cities that opt-in would then be allowed to serve alcohol until 4 a.m. on weekends and state holidays. https://t.co/LuXvew9XJ9
