After months of support and prayer from a beloved Murray County community and thousands of people on social media, one Chatsworth man is back home after a major health scare. In January,we told you about 22- year-old Ethan Baggett who suffered from cardiac arrest. Ethan has special needs and was dealing with complications from pancreatitis and pneumonia. Now, 5 months later, things are looking up for Ethan. He returned home.

Dozens of people gathered at Hawkinsville Baptist Church to spread the word and pray for a woman who is believed to have gone missing on Friday. Valerie Elder Smiley is a 43-year-old mother of 4, wife and entrepreneur. She was last seen wearing a beige or yellow polo and shorts, driving the burgundy expedition seen in the photo above. A police report has been filed. During the ceremony several prayers were issued for Smiley and her family.

While the heat dome is the metro Chattanooga area and much of the United States, it is important to stay aware of possible dangers. NewsChannel9 teamed up with CFD for a "Hot Car Experiment," inspired by Unified Fire, to show just how quickly temperatures can reach dangerous levels.
