The Colorado Rockies unveiled new City Connect uniforms inspired by sunrises and sunsets over the Rocky Mountains. It'll be MLB's only City Connect pullover jersey. The purple, blue, and orange uniforms also feature the Denver city flag lines on the inside of the cap. The Rockies will wear the new uniforms for the first time April 18 at home against the Washington Nationals, according to Patrick Lyons of Rockies Insider.

The Houston Texans and defensive back Jalen Pitre agreed to terms on a three-year extension worth roughly $39 million, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. His deal includes over $29 million in guaranteed money, the most among nickel cornerbacks league-wide, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Pitre began his career as a starting safety in Houston but switched to the nickel position ahead of the 2024 campaign.
