He has around two decades of experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining UserTesting, Erkel was senior vice president of corporate development and strategy at Nintex, and before that, he held leadership roles in corporate development at Citrix. He began his career in technology and management consulting with Accenture.

    The conference, held last week in London, featured a debate arguing whether there was any difference between B2B and B2C research, moderated by Stephen Bairfelt, managing director at Prevision Research and chair at the MRS B2B Network. Santosh Makhani, senior director at Ipsos, said that the size and scale of B2B research, where small numbers of business directors often feature in contrast to the thousands of consumers in typical B2C research, meant the two were separate disciplines.

    Day was most recently vice-president of client services for the Americas at Toluna, overseeing teams in Canada, the US, India and Brazil. In addition, Day has carried out volunteer work with Toronto Public Library’s adult literacy programme and has been a mentor with Women in Research (WIRe), providing guidance to women in both Toronto and Delhi since 2020. “We are thrilled to have Carmen join InnovateMR,” said CEO Lisa Wilding-Brown.

    The largest ever MRS Oppies took place at Drake & Morgan at Kings Cross on 26th September, with more than 300 guests in attendance. The Premier Award for Operational Excellence, sponsored by Bilendi & Respondi, was won by Cobalt Sky, which judges said “stood out with their holistic approach”, as well as its metrics for project delivery times, budgets and communication. Potentia Insight and Sense:lab received a highly commended in the category.
