BURLINGAME, Calif. (KRON) — More tariffs are set to go into effect on Wednesday. President Trump plans to implement a 25 percent tariff on cars and auto parts coming from other countries, sending car sales soaring across the country and in the Bay Area. A sales rep at Ocean Honda of Burlingame says the dealership has been very busy since the weekend. In fact, their sales have tripled compared to this time last year.

Tim Bellison has been training horses his whole life. He’s spent the majority of that time at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. “Like I said, I live here… I’ve lived here for 35 years, and ugh, I’m not happy,” Bellison said.

BELMONT, Calif. (KRON) — A Peninsula woman says she is considering legal action after she was accused of theft at a Pilates studio. Her TikTok video has gone viral with more than 3 million views. Sydney La Day says she is humiliated by the ordeal. The woman says the Hotworx employee did apologize but says it is not enough. Cellphone video captures the interaction between La Day and an employee at Hotworx in Belmont after the employee accused her of stealing a ring.

The incident happened at the high-end City Center at Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. Shocking surveillance footage shows an employee at an optometric practice tussling with not one, but two suspected thieves. The video from February shows four people rushing into Optical Illusions in San Ramon. Two of them get into an all-out brawl with a staff member.
